At the latest Rome edition there was a carousel for children run by bike, bike rentals, and even a mini massage tent!
This past weekend (27-29 March), Rome hosted the Streeat Food Truck Festival, a traveling outdoor festival celebrating great Italian street food, in the neighborhood of Testaccio.

Students of The American University of Rome share their favorite pasta dishes here in Rome.
On Tuesday the 24th of March, The American University of Rome’s Student Government surprised students and faculty with an excellent gift: an on campus food truck! Ben Potesky, President of Student Government loved the idea of having a food truck, he was able to hire Pizza e Mortazza for a whole afternoon. Tales of the Table went around campus to see how AUR students felt about this new experience.
The EXPO Milan 2015 is coming up and excitement is growing. The EXPO will be held from 1st May to 31 October, just outside of Milan, Italy. One hundred forty eight countries are participating, each building its own pavilion to showcase its unique food culture. The Underpinning the exuberant exhibits is a serious mission: The countries will come together to discuss the security and sustainability of healthy food for all the world.
Cooking Classes in Rome is run by Chef Andrea Consoli in the scenic neighborhood of Trastevere. Every other Tuesday students of The American University of Rome have the chance to take one of these courses and complete a two course meal. On Tuesday, March 3rd, students made Zuppa di Ceci con Maltagliati, a chick pea soup with "Maltagliati" pasta and Tiramisu.

Porto Palazzo, located in the Slow Food mecca of Turin is Europe's largest open air market. Open daily, the market is home to not only many international vendors selling their cultural specialties, but also a local Campagna Amica market, where residents sell their in season produce and freshly baked organic goods.
